We are pleased to share our latest press release. It explains how we are developing BodyWision together with 600 Early Access users – and why their everyday experiences, questions and feedback play a central role.

Vienna, 9 September 2026 — Lab results, medical reports, doctor's letters, diagnoses and medication lists accumulate over the years and are often scattered across paper folders, emails, medical practices, hospital systems and different portals. This makes it easy to lose track of important information. At the same time, medical documents are often difficult to understand and may not be fully available at the next medical appointment.

Vienna-based startup BodyWision addresses this challenge with a personal digital health record. Users can scan or upload medical documents, organise them in one place, have medical reports explained more clearly and use their health information for prevention and doctor visits. The health record is complemented by a personal AI health coach that can answer questions based on the stored information and support orientation.

Shaping health management together: 600 Early Access users, a co-design session around a table and the BodyWision health record on a smartphone.

User-centred design with 600 Early Access users

BodyWision has been available in Early Access since July 2026. The app is now used by 600 Early Access users. The current priority is not growth at the greatest possible speed, but the consistent user-centred development of the product together with the community.

Personal community meetings, quantitative questionnaires and regular polls on features and next development steps connect qualitative feedback with measurable priorities. The results continuously shape the development of the app's features, usability, stability and clarity.

“We are deliberately developing BodyWision in Early Access together with our users,” says Dr Kasra Seirafi, Co-Founder of BodyWision. “Personal conversations, questionnaires and polls show us what people really need in everyday life. This user-centred design approach helps us create a solution that supports people sustainably – and develop BodyWision step by step into a leading platform for personal health management.”

Helping people make better use of their health information

BodyWision starts where personal health information comes together: with the individual. The platform is designed to make a person's health history clearer, make important information easier to find and support preparation for doctor visits.

BodyWision does not replace doctors, provide diagnoses or make treatment or medication decisions. The app helps people understand existing health information and prepare conversations with medical professionals.

“Doctors often have to process complex information in a very short time,” says André Seirafi, Co-Founder and Technical Lead of BodyWision. “When people have a clear overview of their health history and arrive better prepared for a conversation, important information can become visible more quickly.”

Scaling planned from 2027

Until the end of 2026, the focus remains on product quality, stability and close collaboration with the community. In 2027, BodyWision plans to make the platform gradually available to a broader audience and expand step by step in the German-speaking market, with a longer-term perspective across Europe.

“Our goal is not to become as large as possible as early as possible,” explains Kasra Seirafi. “First, we want to make sure that BodyWision provides real value in everyday life and earns people's trust. On this foundation, we plan to take the next step in our growth in 2027.”

A European and data-sovereign health platform

Health data is among the most sensitive personal information. Privacy and data sovereignty are therefore central to BodyWision's product development. Personal health data is not sold, shared for advertising purposes or used to train general AI models.

BodyWision positions itself as a European alternative to advertising- and data-driven platform models. The aim is to make the benefits of modern AI technology accessible without taking control of personal health information away from people.

Invitation to free Early Access

BodyWision is gradually opening Early Access to more interested users. People are invited to test the app in everyday life and contribute their experiences and ideas to its continued development. Access is free, requires no payment details and does not automatically lead to a paid membership.
